The application window was open from January 22 through February 12, 2026. Applications were due by 11:59 p.m. CT on the due date. No late applications will be considered.

 

The Dollars for Scholars ChapterNet Student Dashboard is your "one-stop shop" for everything related to Marshall Scholarship Foundation scholarships. Start by creating your Student Profile. Your profile will be used to match you to different scholarship opportunities. Click here to review the list of current scholarships.

Student profiles must be completed to apply for Marshall Scholarship Foundation administered scholarships and to view scholarship opportunities from Scholarship America's nationwide partners. Use the "Click to Login" button at the bottom of this page to get started. But first, read below.

DECEMBER FLEX: Mr. Seep held the MSF scholarship application workshop during flex on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. There was also an evening presentation on the scholarship application process the same day (December 17, 2025) from 6-7 pm in the High School Commons area. If you missed these sessions and need information, please check with Mr. Seep for copies of the materials and handouts or review the materials under the "resources" tab.

RELEASE FORM: All applicants must sign a Permission to Release Information form, and if under 18, a parent/guardian must also sign the Permission to Release Information form. The form is available in the Marshall High School office and must be completed and returned to the Marshall High School office. Failure to submit a signed form means your application information cannot be shared, and your application will not be included for scholarships.

 

TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR STUDENT PROFILE

  • EMAIL: DO NOT use Marshall High School email address. A permanent personal email is required.
  • NAME: DO NOT include your name anywhere in the Student Profile Application or essays. All scholarship applications must be anonymous.    
  • COMPLETION: Fill out all sections completely and verifiably. Incomplete applications may disqualify you from scholarships.
  • ESSAY: Give thoughtful attention to the Goals essay question. The Goals essay question is required and must be submitted for your Student Profile Application to be considered complete. The essay will help Marshall Scholarship Foundation know what makes you special and why you are a good candidate for a scholarship award. There is no limit on the length of your essay or the number of words, but we recommend being concise. Give us your best! Check spelling, grammar, and formatting before uploading your essay.
  • SCHOOL ACTIVITIES: Include all high school activities, sports, and clubs, as well as all academic awards and recognitions. Do NOT "double count" activities. For example, if you were part of FFA and helped with a food drive sponsored by the FFA, the food drive is part of FFA and should not be listed separately. For examples of MHS activities, click here. Activities that are part of a graded class, such as yearbook, should NOT be included. 
  • VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES: Include volunteer activities for organizations such as the Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, your place of worship, etc. Do NOT include middle school activities. 
  • WORK EXPERIENCE: Include how many hours per week and how long you have worked at each employer.
  • TEST SECTION: Only list your highest ACT or SAT composite score. Do not list individual test area scores.
  • FINANCIAL: Financial information is NOT required to be eligible for Marshall Scholarship Foundation scholarships. 
  • VERIFICATION: Counselor verification will be completed after our local submission deadline and will be sent and loaded to your profile electronically.
  • REFERENCE: Scholarships available through Marshall Scholarship Foundation require a reference. Please make sure you have a valid, correctly spelled email address for your reference. (Yes, spelling counts!) Also, inform the reference person that they will receive an email from you directing them to the reference portion of your application. The reference person must NOT be a family member, including legal guardians. Your reference must NOT include your name on anything they submit. Do not submit any additional references. No additional documents are needed or will be accepted for local scholarships. 
  • OTHER REFERENCES: You may find a scholarship opportunity on your student dashboard that asks for an additional reference or recommendation. Please read the requirements for that scholarship and enter the appropriate information for the reference or recommendation requested by that scholarship. If you are asked to provide a recommendation from your local Dollars for Scholars chapter, please enter Bonnie Ernst and the following Marshall Scholarship Foundation email: PresidentMarshallSF@gmail.com.

  • As you work on your profile, check the "My Scholarships" tab to be alerted to further eligibility requirements and to view scholarship opportunities, and SUBMIT your profile for scholarships.
  • Logging into the Student Dashboard will also give you access to volunteer and internship opportunities, important news about college life, and exclusive resources to help you manage your money, succeed in college, and take advantage of everything Dollars for Scholars has to offer.
