The deadline for applying for 2020 Scholarships is March 15, 2020. 

Students can fill out a profile online anytime and then apply online for CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholars scholarships between February 1, 2020 and March 15, 2020.

CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholars Scholarships are awarded for undergraduate studies to residents of Westfield. Our scholarships are awarded based on merit (GPA, activities, work experience and goals essay) and need (determined by your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Report.

If your EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) on the SAR (Student Aid Report) from the FAFSA exceeds $65,000 you do not meet the needs requirement set by our chapter and therefore are ineligible for any CSF Westfield scholarship awards.

Students - Read the instructions below, then log in below and create or update your profile. Begin to build your profile as a freshman and continue to keep it up to date as you go through high school and as an undergraduate in college. You can use this profile for applying for CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholarships as well as Scholarship America and third-party scholarships but check requirements and dates for each as they may differ.

READ! Important specific requirements for CSF Westfield:

  • CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholars scholarship applicants must be a resident of Westfield Massachusetts AND either a high school senior or an undergraduate college student.  Be sure that you have listed undergraduate studies in the educational plan of the profile. Scholarships are awarded only for undergraduate work and may be awarded up to a maximum of four times.
  • Students who filled out the profile in previous years must review and update the profile by the deadline date. 
  • A copy of the 2020 SAR must be uploaded by the deadline date.. All CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholars scholarships are based on both need and merit. The EFC (Estimated Family Contribution) from the SAR (Student Aid Report), received after the student fills out the FAFSA must be entered into the profile and a copy of the 2020 SAR uploaded into the documents section of the profile by the deadline date.  Students with EFC amounts greater than $65,000 are ineligible for CSF Westfield awards. Failure to upload a copy of the SAR by the deadline date will result in being ineligible for an award.
  • Transcripts must be uploaded into the documents section of the profile by the deadline date. High School transcripts are uploaded into the profile by the High School Guidance Counselor.  College transcripts are uploaded into the profile by the student.  Failure to upload a copy of your most current transcript by the deadline date will result in being ineligible for an award.
  • No references or recommendations or HS Rank required by CSF Westfield.
  • Applying for scholarships is a two part process, 1) filling out the profile, which can be done anytime and 2) APPLYING for scholarships between February 1 and March 15, 2020.. All additional documents must be uploaded by the deadline date.

Submission of an application does not guarantee the award of a scholarship. Awarding of scholarships is based on meeting all application requirements, amount of money available and the number of qualified student applicants with merit and need. Final selection of recipients will be made by the CSF Westfield Dollars for Scholars Awards Committee using an objective scoring system.
