Yelm Dollars for Scholars is an affiliate chapter of Scholarship America. Although we recognize that each institution has its own financial aid policies, we prefer that Dollars for Scholars awards be used first to fill any demonstrated financial need, then to adjust the loan or work portion of a financial aid package. Our scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, room and board, bookstore charges, required lab materials or any other expense charged by the institution. Please DO NOT release any funds to the student. Money may be carried over to the next year or released to another school if the student transfers.
